Fastest single-slot card today?

I'm building a system for an old friend of mine, she plays World of Warcraft. I paired the system with a Mini-ITX ASRock H75 board and my old 2600K, 8 GB of Corsair Value RAM, and Corsair GS600 power supply in a tiny Lian-li case that looks like a cube no bigger than 1 foot. I had ordered a Sapphire 7770 GHz Edition, didn't realize it had a big cooler on it. Had to return it. Before I fuck up again, I'd like to know what is the fastest single-slot card I can put in her system? It cannot be a double slot cooler.

Your options are going to be severly limited. I would suggest changing the case. You will not do much gaming with a true single slot card. That's just my opinion though. Others will know more than me though.
 
we need to know how much space we have for the GPU, take a ruler to that thing.
 
Can't you move the HD bay? Or the HD itself? I just use a test bench personally. A true single slot card will probably suffocate that close to the case wall anyway. What a dumb case.
 
In terms of commonly available I believe the 7750 would be the fastest. There are 7770s which use a single slot bracket but the fan/heatsink profile makes them 2 slots.

From what I understand though the 7750 should be enough for WoW at 1920x1080 (I assume it won't be higher). But I don't play or follow the game nor is it commonly tested so I can't say for certain.

It has enough room for a 6.5 to a 7" video card.

I'm not putting a 7850 in there, I should have mentioned in the OP that the budget is about $110 lol.
 
I would think that if all you're trying to run is World of Warcraft you shouldn't have too much trouble finding something that will suffice.

I mentioned it already but the 7750 is in budget (for roughly the same price) and is faster. Also some seem to be coming with Farcry 3 which even if you don't want can be sold making it cheaper.

Unless you have a preference for Nvidia which I don't think is the case since you initially bought a 7770.
 
Colorful announced a single slot 650ti. If you can find it i'd spend the extra few bucks and go that route.
