When i play farcry sometimes the game just goes nuts, artifacts like crazy, bad enough where u cant see crap, and frames drop to probably like 5fps, then i i keep pausing it will finally go away, i even brought down my overclock and heat is not an issue. and yes i have the new patch installed for farcry. i swear im about to switch to ati if the video card is the problem!!
 
I had a similar problem with the Farcry Demo that came with PCGamer magazine... Im running a radeon 9800pro with the latest catalyst drivers so the card is not your problem...

Besides there are other HUGE reasons why you should change to ati but in regards to this thread, Farcry programming is to blame, not your card.
