FarCry HDR doesnt work

Everything is maxed out, all settings very high, 1280x1024, runs great, but HDR refuses to turn on. It's running on the SM3 path. Patched to 1.33 Any ideas? I have a x1900xt.

Im not sure about ATI but with Far Cry I couldnt have AA on while HDR was on.

I dont have AA enabled.

You need to have the effects and lighting set to very high (I think, it works for me) and then go change r_HDRRendering in system.cfg from 0 to 2 or 7 (recommended). See http://www.tweakguides.com/Farcry_9.html for this and other info.

Yes, you need to enable HDR in the console. There's a thread somewhere about how its done. I used a value of 5.

Couldn't get it to work with out 1.4 patch on my ATI card either, but that patch has an unlimited ammo bug.

Yes, this is what I ended up doing, it wouldnt work no matter what I did. It was enabled, everything was on very high, but it didnt do squat. This patch fixed it, its kinda buggy though. HDR is beautiful though, def the best i've seen
