Far Cry w/ pixel shader 2.0?

is the 1.1 version of far cry running the 2.0 pixel shader? if not how do I force it to?
 
far cry always uses 2.0 shaders if the card is dx9 compatible and the game is set on anything but low settings
 
Yes, and you should be able to tell by the water...if it looks very close to real then it is useing PS 2.0. If it looks like snowy colored water then it's PS 1.4 :p
