My Xclio top fan has started to spin very slowly. There are 2 fans on top, one is spinning fine, the other is moving too slowly to be moving any ari. It is a xclio 1000, with a Corsait 750tx power supply.

The dials are turned all the way up for fan speed. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is it getting any louder? Do you know what type of bearing the fan has. Some oil in there might help.

Im not sure what type, how would I find out? the slowly spinning one now wont turn unless I push it to get it started. 2 of the other fans in the case have stopped turning on, im thinking maybe this case wasnt such a great deal after all. I believe these are the fans-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835234008&Tpk=140mm xclio

There are 8 in the case, all powered by one molex connected to a mainboard.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated (out of warranty though). Thanks!

Those are sleeve bearing fans (it says so in newegg specs). It could be an electrical problem if they're not turning on at all.

sound like you have them hooked up on 5 volts... crappy fans will not turn on if you are on 5 volts

They have been going strong for the last 8 months or so, so im not sure why they would cut out all of a sudden. I guess its time to take them apart.....

oh I see... my guess is that they are dirty and/or they need some lube... please do not use 'personal' lube... I have had really good luck with Air Conditioner oil
