I have a ATI X800XL and i do some hardcore gaming and server hosting . I was thinking about getting a VGA cooler . So i started looking around and ive seen quit a bit of the fanless tech floating around and i was wondering if this would do the trick or not.
here is a link of one that i am looking at i am up for suggestions for better brands or better cooling systems all together !

They are totally silent, but they are hot. If you want the best of both worlds then I suggest a ATi Silencer, huge heatsink and big fan = very very quiet and very very good cooling.

The ZM80D-HP won't fit on an x800 based card without modification, I had to do quite a bit of fitting to get it to work. And I did have to use the supplementary OP-1 fan or it ran too hot on an X800 Pro

Your better off just getting either the VF-700 AlCu or CU, both of which cool better than the ZM80's and at low speed is completely silent, at high speed it is barely noticeable over most of the system fans anyway.

Are the silencers still quiet when you change the fanspeed to high?

There meant to be about the same volume as the stock ATI fans when set to 'high'. But it is a lower pitched and more pleasant sound. On low its very quiet and still better cooling than what the card came with..
