Fanless Broadwell NUC?

Does anyone know if Intel is going to make a fanless Broadwell NUC? They come out with a low power processor + box, obviously intended for HTPC use, then saddle it with a fan. I don't get it.
 
I doubt it, based on the fact that they had a fan on the Baytrail NUC (which is more energy efficient than even Core M). A couple of companies are selling replacement fanless cases for NUCs, mostly targeted at audio production and industrial uses but it is an option.
 
You could easily go into the bios on the nuc and set the duty cycle to 0% and have it run semi-passive until it gets close to the Tjunction. But you have to understand the size and volume of the system, its just not reasonable to expect it to run passive all the time given the performance and tdp.

That sounds cool if it does that. Only spin up the fan as needed?

For anyone who has a NUC, how loud is it from 6' away?
