I'm thinking about adding some exterior fans to the bottom of my case and if I do, i would only have about 2mm of clearance before it hitting the desk.
would this hinder the performance of the fans? they will be used as intake fans.
After testing my own fans to figure out needed clearance, it seems that you need at least ~20mm, going above 25-30mm (~1inch) airflow does not seem to increase anymore.
