so I have an old Vantec "Stealth 470," which is pretty much an oxymoron since at it's lowest fan setting is near 45 db, and I want to swap out all the fans for quiet ones.

I've been looking for an old link to some guy who modded his pc power & cooling psu to two actively cooling fans. I vaguely remember that website (jokingly) showing a psu being dumped in a bucket of water to use up the remaining electricity in the psu….
Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

it isnt hard ya know.... I did it many times on my old antec smartpower 450watter.... jsut open it up..... unscrew/cut the fan's power line and toss in the new one... and warranty gone.. but who cares? lol.. it is very easy.. and dont worry about the capacitors or anything.. just dont mess with them.

I've voided that warrenty a long time ago... I'm still looking for that link though...
