Fan Speed Question....

When I restart my computer my CPU is spinning at 3200 RPM and my CPU idle is usually around 29-30 however after I fisish playing a game my fan speed decreases to 1500 and my CPU idle is around 35. The fan speed never picks back up to 3200 unless I restart my PC. My case fans are pretty consistant at 5200 RPM. Any reason my fan speeds get cut in half after I finish playing a game? Specs are in sig. I'm not using any program to set my fan speeds unless MSI CoreCenter does that for me.
 
MSI says here that the MSI Core Center utility is a "...Hardware monitor & overclocking & fan speed control tool", so I'd guess that's probably the reason.
 
It most likely bases your fan speed off of your CPU temp. Have you tried stressing the CPU while watching the fan speed to see if it speeds up?
 
Isn't playing a game stressing your CPU?

But, yea I multi-task like crazy and my CPU fan stays churning at 3200 RPM but then as soon as I play a game and then exit the fan speed gets cut in half.
 
This kind of stuff is why I like to plug my fans directly into the PSU, and manually adjust their speeds... having the fan speed go down and go up is more annoying than constant moderate fan speed to me.
 
How do I set it to a constant? I would like to set it to 3000 RPM constant.
