fan speed jumping back and forth.

howdy, i'm using MyGuard to monitor my fan speed and it jumps back and forth between 1547 and 1564 is this normal?
 
Perfectly normal. I have yet to see a fan that spins at an exact constant speed. Most fans will vary 50-200rpm or more if it's a thermally controlled fan.
