Fan speed controllers!

Thought you guys in overclocking & cooling might be able to help me out. :)

I was looking into getting some case fans for a new case I got and decided the convenience of a fan speed controller would be cool. Anyway, question is;
Other than the obvious lack of a sweet LCD screen on it, is there any reason I should consider an expensive and/or namebrand one over a cheap one?
I'm considering this one from Jab-tech atm.

I've never bought a fan controller that is quite that inexpensive before and know nothing about that particular unit beyond what is listed, but usually what you give up is the quality of the parts used and the wattage that each channel can handle. The one you linked has 20w per channel, so depending on the fans you use, you'll be able to run 1-2 per channel. It says the knobs adjust smoothly which would be pretty good for that price since my (5 year old Vantec) has very inconsistent adjustment of fan speed, yet my unit cost me ~$25. I did get some extras for that price though like 2x CCFLs and an adjustable sound sensitive mic for the lighting. Mine is junk though, I'll bet the one you're looking at is better quality.

For the price, it looks like a good deal. Says it's out of stock atm though.

sunbeam makes a rheobus extreme. thats the one id be buying if you wanted sunbeam, its got much higher ratings, and its 30w/channel.

i just picked up a fan controller a while ago to control the 2 fans i have on my h50, and i know i way overbought when it came to the controller. i picked up the nzxt sentry lx, but i should have just gotten the smaller sentry 2.
btw what is the new case youre contemplating? you may not even need one.and remember you will lose about 10% on the low and high end of the fans when you have them running through a controller.

I have used the controller you link to and it is OK from a fan control stand point, no frills. The problem I had with it were the LED's, when they say super bright they mean it, they are too bright in my opinion.
