Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
i have 3x120mm yate loons in my p160... i was thinking of making htem a little quieter and i found these 12VDC to 7VDC Quiet Fan Cable and 12VDC to 9VDC Quiet Fan Cable... which one would be better sound vs keeping my case cool
I'd say you're getter off getting an adjustable controller rather than something which only converts to a fixed voltage. That way you can experiment and turn up the fans a little when you need the extra air. Also, if the noise is coming from your case vibrating (put your hand firmly on both doors at the same time or both hands on the top of the case) then you could consider some type of damper (either a normal fan damper or rubber screws).
