Hey-

Is this the best way to have my fans placed? Kinda a generic yes or give your opinion post, but I wanted to see if this was the best way that would maximize the air flow. I wanted to hear some opinions before I throw it all together.

Here's a Pic:

The red lines are the fans and the CPU fan is the one behind the side window fan.

- PSU blows out the back
and sucks are up from underneith air into the PSU
- 2 fans in back blow OUT
- Top fan blows air IN
- Side window fan blows air IN
- CPU blows air down on the Chip

I'd put the two back, PSU, and blowhole all blowing out.
I'd add a fan at the front blowing IN across the hard drives, and of course the window fan blowing in also. 7v the two back case fans to even out the pressure a bit.

What? You lost me.

7v = Run the fan off of 7v instead of 12v. Makes it run slower, quieter, and pushes less air. If you run them off full 12v, your case will be highly negatively pressurized, because you'd have twice as much air trying to escape.

How do you run them off only 7V? Is that on some power supplies why they have special molex connects that only have a red and black wire that say "fan only" on them? Otherwise my guess would be through software?

NO INTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!! but really its ok..i have a server that has all exaust, with vents in front for intake...works great and keeps all thw fans in the back of the case...i hear them less back there..

this is how mine is, i do have windows fan aiming at the cpu heatsink. and the rear fans are one blowing in and one blowing out :D and the fan next to the harddrive is intake with 120mm fan
