The fan attached to the Megahalem on the right is a powerful Delta fan, whereas the fan on the left is a standard Yate Loon. Both are 120mm fans and are pushing/pulling air through from the right side of the picture to the left.

Is it actually a bad idea to have the slower/standard 120mm Yate Loons fan installed in this setup? Would it be better to only have the 120mm Delta fan attached?

Above the Megahalems (north) are two 120mm Yate Loons fans as well, pushing air out the top of the case. Both chipset heatsinks have a 40mm fan attached blowing air down into the heatsinks. I cannot move the Quadro into the second PCI-E slot because of the 40mm fan on the southbridge, and I would like to keep the 40mm on the southbridge heatsink. I have changed the thermal paste for both chipsets using AS5 paste.

The Quadro itself does not generate very much heat at all. Not pictured is a 120mm fan laying on the bottom of the case (inside it though) sucking air in through the bottom vents of the chassis to push air into the case. Also not pictured is a 120mm fan installed in the bottom front of the chassis pulling air in and pushing it through (past the two harddrives) the bottom. PS. I have a hairdryer's fan (almost twice as powerful as my 120mm Delta fan on my Megahalems) I could use, but its size is around 70mm to 75mm (not quite 80mm but definitely not 60mm).

EDIT: Thermal paste for CPU and chipsets are fresh (put them on last night), using AS5.

Just try it with the second fan on and off, and record the temps. Even thought the second fan is slower than the first, in theory, it should help airflow though it may not be to a noticeable level. It may make more sense to move the Yate Loon to a standard exhaust fan in the spot behind your CPU.

EDIT: Seems to work subtly better, or maybe no difference.

At the moment I am also having my brother carve out the center of a 80mm to use its fan chassis for a hairdryer fan that fits. It will definitely be a ghetto mod, but I plan on putting it right beneath the two DVD drives to suck air in from the middle front and push it through in the upper half of the chassis above the Quadro might improve airflow, since air from the bottom half of the chassis is required to figure out how to navigate around the video card).

EDIT2: The hairdryer ghetto mod makes a difference anywhere from 0.5*C to ~4*C (potential).
