I am soon planing to buy a Corsair 800D and watercool it with a 360 radiator and change out some of the fans. What is the best performance fans for the radiator and case that i should get? 120x25mm? or 120x38mm? . I know i can always get a fan controller if things get way to loud. But i don't want fans that reach 170+CFM and 70+dBA and make my computer sound like a hurricane all the time even on lowest settings on the fan controller. My gaming area is relatively small and my case is not to far from me. Any suggestions on optimal performance while not loosing my ear drums?. Any suggestions/experience will be greatly appreciated. :p

I'll probably get flamed for even recommending these (by people who have never even used them), but I went from GT's to Gelid Wing LED PWM fans. They give me about the same temps and noise (minimal), and I'd highly recommend them IF you want PWM fans.

I don't usually bother with PWM fans, voltage fan controllers usually work just as well, not to mention being much more common. The Gentle Typhoon 1850's lowered to about 1200 RPM are virtually impossible to hear unless you put your ear right to them from what I've heard. At full speed, they're audible, but somewhat barely. They also have pretty good pressure, so they don't lose as much air movement through high FPI radiators as other fans that have low pressure (the Scythe Slipstream fans is one such example; high air movement, but drastically reduced due to low pressure).
 
I don't have a set of GTs here (rather some Phobya fans someone sponsored me, and some other powerful fans), but from what I've heard, they're dead silent at certain speeds, and even at full blast, the sound they make is a very neglectable hum. Perhaps that's the sound of air moving through the fans, tho'.

GELID Hydro Dynamic Bearing fans are good, quieter than scythe imho, cheaper too.
