I had two noobish questions regarding fans:

1. I have two 3pin fans connected together via a Y connector and plugged into the mobo's case fan 3 pin. My question is since I have two fans connected will the speed of the fans be reduced at all? or will it be sustained?

2. Assume I have 3 120mm fans all running at 21db. If I add one or two more at the same db will that make it louder? I don't think so since they are all the same db, but am not sure.

Thanks for the help guys!

1. Same as one fan, unless higher airflow makes motherboard adjust them lower or max output of fan connector is exceeded.

2 Adding new fans creates always more noise. And fan specs are honest as often as politicians.
