Whats a good # to look for on fan pressure to pull or push threw a radiator. Im considering panaflo fba12g12m1a 120x38 that has 4.80 mmh20 (I belive thats how to state it). Is this enough? Or should I look for something in the 6's?

Don't worry about the pressure. Get the one with the best CFM/dB, price, and tolerable dB.
 
I already have two bix 120.2, two d5 pumps, a storm block, and a mcw55 vga block for the parallel loop im building. All I want to know is if a low pressure fan that moves 70cfm will preform the same as a high pressure 70cfm fan when pushing air threw a radiator that blocks alot of air. Thank you for your input though.
 
Higher pressure fans will always cool better on restrictive rads. This should be common sense.
 
Unless you're pushing a LOT of air, I doubt your radiator is restrictive enough to matter. My boneville looks pretty dense, but air flows right through it no problem.
 
well, now that you have a bit more detail up regarding your loop.....with two BIX2 rads, you have such spectacular overkill in terms of surface area that you can use the quietest fans that tickle your fancy, or the biggest loudest fans out there, and it's not going to have a huge impact on your temps. i think that you should try something like a pair of yate loon 120mm fans or a pair of panaflo low (L1A) 120mm fans on each rad, and then dial them down to whatever noise level you like. i could be wrong, but i doubt that you'd see a measurable difference in performance between the M1A panaflo and a yate loon, with the yate loon being really quiet and it takes well to being dialed down.

you really should have gotten BIP2s instead......i also run BIX rads, and they are nothing special in terms of raw cooling capacity with real case fans: HWlab's rating system isn't all that fair to the end user in that regard. the pro series rads have the added benifit of better cooling with low powered fans.

They are not different from other exchanger companies in that regard. A lot of this research has just become apparent over the last several months. Hence the Thermochill "PA" line of rads. The HE's cool well too, just with much more high powered fans. The PA's are designed to work better with less air density. Thus why you don't need a shroud for the PA's, where as on the HE's you really should.
