Anyone willing to share information as to what the best installation would be for additional fans?

I've just purchased:
SILVERSTONE FM121 120mm x2
AeroCool XtremeTurbine-Black 120mm x2
STOCK (Included with case): Coolermaster 120mm x3

Currently both the Silverstones are installed in the two top bays above the processor, pulling air out. The two AeroCool XtremeTurbine's are pulling air into the case via the side panel and front above (5.25 bay) the stock fan. The stock fan, which was located on the side panel, is now installed on the bottom placeholder pulling air into the case.

I'm thinking the Silverstones should be moved, since the RPM can be throttled by the controller included. However, not sure what direction.

I've also a XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler, which I'm about to RMA due to temp issues and it's warped base... I could lap it, but it will take more time to do that than have it replaced with a better alternative.

This is what I have setup:
2 x 140mm Yate Loons on top - exhaust
2 x 120mm Yate Loon back + bottom - intake
2 x 120mm Yate Loon front - exhaust
1 x 120mm CM stock side panel - intake

I have the same xigmatek cooler as you do, running it passive because the 140mm exhaust is right on top of it. My Q9450 idles at 29degC. The fans make a fair bit of noise though, I could cut down on that by installing Scythes or Noctuas but...

I did 6x 140mm Scythes in my 590 (similar case), + a 120mm Panaflo. Can you fit all 140's in the 690?
