Fan for SLK-947u?

Looking to get a fan for my Slk-947u cooling a p4 2.4c, not sure what to get - I am going to be overclocking it to about 3.0-3.4ghz. Anyone have any recommendations? Also would a fan controller be necessary?

947s are socket A, you need a 948

The u makes it universal, its in my computer already - I just broke the fan it had on it before I got a chance to do much on it.

all i say is get a nice fan that pushes a lot of air thats still quiet (if you like your hearing dont get a tornado) if you want insane cooling and have your computer locked in a refrigerator so you cant hear it by all means

for my SLK-800 i assimilated a TT silent boost fan and get 80 F idle and 100-113 F full load

I've got a 92mm thermaltake temp controlled fan on mine. Its fairly quiet, and with my 2400+ XP-m OC'd to 12x200 @ 1.8v, I sit at 41/48C.

80mm Vantec Tornado on a fan controller would be nice.......small dead spot and cools better than the 92mm version..........

get the 80mm zalman,, fairly quiet and very good.. im using that on mine,, but i have a slk-900U running about 35 idle and about 42 full load
