Here is a thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=192932, about how to do a custom fan profile for the 4850. Has anyone here tried this? And if so does the fan automatcally stiil speed up in 3d mode if the profile is set to manual? It appears to work great in desktop 2D mode.
