Fan duty 100% bad?

If I have my fan duty set to 100% is that bad? Is the fan more likely to burn out or stop working? I'm using the default fan/heatsink on a 7900gtx
 
grrr. Sry but I really need to know fast because I'm doing some overclocking and noticed a huge drop in temps with the fan set to 100% in riva tuner, thing is I don't wanna have the fan crap out on me and kill the card. :confused:
