I'm considering purchasing this fan controller to regulate the speed at which each fan spins (it's been getting a bit loud lately :p) http://www.svc.com/35drivbayvrf.html

Now I know that watts per channel is an important issue in getting one of these, but if I plan on using a dial to control:
1. Two 80mm LED fans
2. Two mid speed 80mm Sunon fans
3. One 80mm similar to the couple being controlled in #1.
Do you guys think I'll have enough watts per channel? Each fan is rated at ~2.0 watts...

I'm also considering one of these http://www.svc.com/vane3mucobl.html and although there may be many better fan controllers to fit a 5 1/4'' bays, I just want to put mine in a 3 1/2'' bay.

Thanks for looking :).

I'm a bit unclear on how you plan to hook this up. Five fans for four channels -- how are you going to combine them?

Without knowing this, it's sort of hard to say, but I'd bet that you'll be fine no matter what you do (including putting all on the same channel, although this would void any warranty that the product comes with).

i think u should have enuf power for the rheobus to handle those fans
i would recommend getting the first one cuz the vantec ones arent the greatest

I plan on putting 2 LED fans on one knob, 2 80mm Sunon fans on another knob, and one LED fan on a third. I do not have plans yet for the fourth dial, but I may choose to split one of the fans sharing a single knob.

Yeah, you should definitely be fine with either of the models you linked us to.

GOt it.
Run 3x 4led 80mm, 2x 4led 80mm, 1x 80mm Big Orange, 1 90mm

Mind you I have a 550watt antec power supply. But it runs fine I've checked thier speed works great.

And that is an awsome price.
