Im looking for a fan controller, and to be brief, i would like one thats priced decently, fits a 5 1/4" drive bay, doesn't have many LEDs or any bright annoying lights, because this is going into a PC in my bedroom that is running 99% of the time. and lastly i need it to control a minimum of 4 fans, 1200RPM S-Flex fans if it matters. if it was your hard earned money, what would [H] recommend?
 
I would suggest the Sunbeam Rheobus, because I have one, and it works great. Controls 4 fans like you want, fits a 5 1/4" drive bay. Only downside is the brightness. It is bright as heaven, but what I did, was put a little piece of electrical tape on the LED, and that worked out fine.

Rheobus's LEDs can be easily removed. I did just that and it still works great.
 
ah, simple enough.

now i have another question, im 100% positive that the 3 pin connectors from my fans will not reach all the way to the fan controller with out some kind of "extension cable", though im having a hell of a time finding anything like that, does such a product exist?

im also located in Canada, so it makes finding some parts a pain in the ass.
 
a few minutes on google tells me there is such a thing, but im having a hell of a time to find any Canadian websites that have 3 pin fan extension cables.

sigh, i found a website that sells them but they want $5 for a single cable.
