I was wondering what kind of setups people have for their fans.

I recently bought the Zephyrus Fan Controller from VL systems for the ability to control the fan through the software, and have the ability to read BIOS temps so i could adjust accordingly.

What a POS flop of equipment that is, I didn't know that you had to install third party software such as MBM. From what i gather so far MBM is no longer supported by the auther and there is no updates on it, and i can't get it installed on vista 64 ultimate. (And yes I know about speedfan but I am getting errors in temp readings they show all my cores in -35 celcius)

Stuck with this idea in my head I see that sunbeam has something similar I was wondering about that before shelling out cash for another fan controller, wondering if any other owners out there have that and does that need third party software to get bios temps and readings.

What else I like to know what kind of fan controllers that other people are running, and also like to know if you are using liquid cooling and how is it setup. Potentially I want to have a liquid cooling setup but at the same time i need to know how people are accessing temps and how are you controlling the fans.

Cheers

I run a very simple sunbeam rheostat for my current rig. I also have a 6 toggle switch monster from FrozenCPU. Both work great and are compact

I have one of the $15 Sunbeam rheobuses from jab-tech, it works great and feels solid. The LEDs are very bright but the p180 has a door :p
