Alright first of all I am in love with this and my first question would be:
Could I attach cold cathodes to this?
Would I be able to reverse an LED to make it so red is low and blue is high?
My idea is, connect RED cold cathodes to one toggle, and BLUE to another, switch the blue led around and when one led is red the case is red and when the other is blue the case is blue. Would this work?

What is a cheap/reliable site (that takes money orders/checks) for cold cathodes and female 4-pin tailed connectors?(As seen here) (2.50 each at frozencpu is too much...)
 
You can connect CCFLs to that, but they won't work the way you are describing.

It says thats a dual-voltage baybus, which means you have 3 possible positions:
Hi-Lo-Off.

If you connect a set of CCFLs to it, the lights will be ON-Half Lit-Off.

There is no way to make that particular baybus into a dual control.

You COULD do it, but there'd be so much work involved it would be easier to build you own from scratch. It would end up being cheaper anyways.

All you'd need is a 2-pole, 2 throw, on-off-on toggle switch for the switch. They are pretty common and easy to use. Check Ebay.

You'd need a dual color red/blue LED as well.

And you'd need some wire to wire it up. If you get 5V LEDs, you won't even need resistors.
 
I am just getting into the modding and computer scene so something like building my own would be very hard for a n00b like myself. What I meant was having 1 toggle for each cold cathode, so having them both on for purple, having one on and one off for blue or red. Thank you for answering my question, but is the $2.50 female to bare wire connectors the cheapest? Also would it be hard drilling through a lian-li bay cover?
 
Be a little creative with the molexes, take one of these and make it into two of what you want, same price, but you get two :D


 
How would that work? Don't I need a female molex coming from the controller to the fan/cathode?
