Have this:

and it is not working. Have it plugged into 2 tornados, 120mm stock lian li fan and nothing on 4th knob. It does all the lightning but the fans are not changing speed. I am wondering if I do not have enough power or what. My power supply is a 550w antec tp 2 but I do have a 7800gtx, amd 3700, 2 HDs, aerogate temp moniter and more. Any ideas?
 
In the last couple of weeks, I had the same problem you're having but with the Zalman fan controller. I've just got a 9800XT for the VC but it really shouldn't make much of a difference. I took another look at my setup, and found that my power cable was not plugged all the way in, so I guess only the 5V line was going in. I didn't think to check twice but I came out looking like an idiot in the end. So check if the power cables all the way in.
