I am in need of a fan controller for my case but im not too sure an what to get or even what will fit my case. I have a Cooler Master WaveMaster case and I am going to keep the door on it so I need something that will fit behind the door. I have yet to mod the case but the plans are to have 5 case fans and I would like to controll the CPU fan as well but Ito do that I will need a strong fan controller as I use a Vantec Tornado on the CPU. Any Suggestions?

I am in the process of putting together a new case for my rig, and will be using this fan controller in the new case. It has no knobs to interfere with the operation of the door. This controller is available in either silver or black. My new case is the Silverstone TJ06. The only other suggestion I have for you, unless you don't mind the noise........lose the tornado.

I like that one but the only thing about it that I dont like is that the buttons on the black one are silver so they dont really fit in with the rest of the case. As for loosing the Tornado, What fan do you suggest to replace it? The noise doesnt bother me as my mobo is an Abit Fatal1ty with 4 40mm fans and 1 60mm fan onboard, but if i can get great perfromance from a quiter fan that would help with the overall noise of the case as the Tornado is the loudest part of the case.

Actually, the Aerogate interfered with the door on my case. It was a Coolermaster Wave.

i also have a aerocool gatewatch with a thermal take tsunami, and have no fitment problems

anything that can do 12V output can handle the Vornado

personally I like this one (although it only controls 4 fans), but it is reltaviley inexpensive and is just a Vantec rebadge; runs my 92mm Vornado, 120x38mm intake fan, 120mm exhuast fan, and Northpole chipset coolr fan just fine.

Aerocool Gatwatch + Cooler Master Wave = No worky worky.

First off, the case uses rails. The fan controller isn't long enough to work properly with the rails. I had to modify mine just to get it to stay in the drive bay!

Second off, I had to mount it further back in the drive bays by about 1/4" to get the door to clear the volume "knob".

Enermax's fan controllers have very small/low profile knobs. Might want to check that out

Mine doesnt use any rails. I like the PC Toys one as it doesnt have blue on it. (I think blue is way overdone on computer mods) I know that I can change the leds but im lazy. ;) How big are the Zalman Fan Mates without the case? I might just buy 6 of those and take the case off and mod them into a 5 1/4" bay. Im not sure if they will handle a Tornado either, Prolly not. What about making my own? What do you guys think about rheostats? Iv heard mostly bad but the are a few people that like them. I could always get realy small knobs for them so that might be an option as well.

umm...it does have blue LEDS (read the description and 4th line on the features).

but they can be disabled quite easily.
