I have one of these fans just lying around right now. I had it installed for awhile but it was just too damn loud. I was wondering, are there any ways to slow it down, other than having to buy one of those fancy fan controllers? The fan will do onto a Abit A7N-S motherboard, and the power supply is a Antec Truepower 430.

yeah i just bought a vantec controller from new egg mine should be here tomorrow. and yes this damn thing is so loud i cant even think.. my humor on instant message is dwindling :(

i have one too and its awesome, too bad it cant turn OFF the fans when you want them to

yeah those sunbeam rheos are really cool- you can get them in black or silver with printed graphics on them. They work really well (plus you can turn the fans completley off) and the two colour leds are stupidly bright.
sorted :)

edit- just looked at the SVC site- looks like some bible types have hacked the gaming in 3d website- lol

I have a vantec Nexus controller (has support for four fans), I bought it from newegg a while back for about $22 shipped, was a very good deal. It works very well and is much better than running those tornado's in full speed :)

just put a coolermaster aerogate 1 in w/my tornado...working fine...plus the switchable illumination is cool.
