Hi huys i need a fan controller for my 2x delta 4000rpm 120x38mm fans.

i put them on my heatercore, but it is like plane taking off in my room. So i need a fan controller to adjust the speed whenever i need.

to add: they are 24V so a normal 12V fan controller is out (as turk has already learned the hard way). i cant find any 24V fan controllers on google. also, if theyre running off the 12V rail then are they only running at half speed like when you undervolt a 12V fan to get it to go slower? im not especially electronics minded either.

For that kind of voltage and the kind of controller for the kind of power they draw, you would be better off buying new (quieter) fans. 4000rpm Deltas is just over kill. However if you just HAVE to use these fans I am betting your only option is going to be a custom set up with some rheostat's, but they are not cheap.

wow i need one of these i have tge older 20w one and blew out 2 pots on it from accidently overvolting

I have an antec 1200 with 5 delta fans, ranging from 12-29 watts (ish) and the sunbeam rheobus extreme has worked like a charm for me for about a month, no problems at all. highly reccomended.

i think these are the same fan or at least similar. they say theyre 8.64W, so he might be ok.

they are 24V . . .
also, if theyre running off the 12V rail then are they only running at half speed like when you undervolt a 12V fan to get it to go slower?

The relationship between voltage and fan RPM is not linear. So, they are not running at half speed. But, they are running at lower-than-max speed.
A typical controller supplied with 12V can never give you anything higher than 12V.

When you say it sounds like a plane, how are you powering it?
If you are powering it from 12V, then, you can just use a 12V controller.

they are definitely working at full speed. i cant understand movie with my headset when those fans working. they are 2x 12V fans put together to one cable.

oh i thought they were 24V fans. i wired them together in parallel if i remember correctly, so they should be running at full voltage/full speed if theyre given enough juice.

So, it sounds like your fans are 12-V.
If you are getting a controller, make sure it can handle the current your fans need.
