im thinking that for my next upgrade i will get a Vantec NXP-305. now the case im looking at will have atleest 6 fans. now the fan controler is only a 4 chanel one, so would it be dangerus to use more then 1 fan per chanel? aslo, the fans in my ps are fairly loud, so i was wondering would the ps shut off if i replaced the built in fans with fans conected to a fan controller isnted of soldered into the psu, or should i just replace the original fans with quieter more expensive fans? if i can hook them up to the psu, would it be allright to plug 2 fans into each chanel of that controller?

What fans do you have? size....CFM....dBA ratings

Each one of those slots/channels can take a certain wattage. If the two fans you're connecting don't add up past that then you should be fine.
 
80mm led fans. right now im using coolermaster ones right now, not shure what my case will come with(x-alien), and im thinking about coolermaster led fans for my psu. btw, does the psu have a cut off or somthing if it doesnt deteckt a fan? b/c im thinking of hooking up the fans to the controller
 
Sounds like you have the 32.11 CFM Coolermaster fans, so go to the Coolermaster site and check the specs and see how many watts they require and then check the watts per channel of the 305 fan controller. I just bought the 201 Vantec controller and I think it's 15-18 watts per channel, but I have two and I'm only using one fan per channel anyway.
 
i wouldnt sigest hooking up your PS fans to your controler, just get better fans. you dont want to limit the airflow through your power supply.
