Fan Adapters

well that depends, is 8db really worth the price to you?

If so, then get it. Plus it opens you up to a new range of fans you will be able to use (any 92mm).

Just be sure you know that the further away your fan is, the less air pressure it will be able to deliver (the fan is now about an inch further away than the old setup). Some people will say this can change the cooling performance of some HSF setups.

make one first, it's cheap and easy.

Use cardboard and $0.57 cynocrylate "super glue" from wall mart. Paint the cardboard with the super glue to make it hard like plastic sheet. Then cut the pieces with a razor blade and supe glue it all together/

Make the adaptor that way, see if it works..it's cheap enough. If it works then maybe invest in the real deal.
