False New posts in User CP

Okay, been having this problem since I joined in Feb. If I close my browser and then later open it back to my User CP all the threads that I've already read will have the "New Post" icon. But there are no new posts. As long as I don't close out the browser this doesn't happen.


On the other hand. If I don't read all the new posts threads and close out the browser and come back after a couple minutes the threads I haven't read will appear as if they have been read.

I hope that made sense.

EDIT: I guess I should say I'm using IE7 Beta 3, but it did it in Beta 2 and IE 6 and Vista Beta 2

I have the same problem. Its fairly annoying but I deal with it. It has been happening for a while now.

Happens every once in a while, I think it's a per-user problem. Last time, Kyle waved his magic wand and fixed it for me.

On the main forum page there is a link called "Mark Forums Read." (Use the find text command if you have a hard time finding it). Not the most elegant solution, but it gets the job done.
