Fallout 4 Mod question

Hey guys,

I just purchased Fallout 4, with the season pass.

I'm looking for a Solid, easy to install graphics mod. My laptop isn't the strongest so it doesn't have to be crazy, just something to make it more vibrant, lush and realistic.

My second question is, is there a population mod to add more random encounters, npc's to the wasteland? I don't want to be to lonely walking around.

Yes i've googled, but I don't feel like messing around on my first play-through, I'd rather just get some first hand opinions on whats good and works.

Also, any other mods that come recommended I'm interested in.

Specs:
(Windows 10, i7 4700mq, 16gigs, 250gig EVO, Geforce GT750m, 1366 x 768)

I can give you a list of some that I use when I get home from work. I like the ones that expand the settlers/settlements and increase the crafting system a lot. I get mine on the nexus, I just got used to that for elder scrolls games.

A few I use.

In the Graphics options make sure you turn Godrays to Low and you might want to change the Shadow distance to medium or edit the .ini to your liking because the difference between medium & high is huge with the preset Bethesda gave us. I think I have mine set to 6500 in the .ini
