Go read some more reviews on the Sapphire 4830. They will confirm the results of the overclockersclub review.
 
Sure, sounds legit, unless you overclock the 4850, 9800gt, and gtx as well. Then it's back to the bottom. :p
 
you have to remember.. the 4830/4850/4870 all use the same GPU.. only difference between them is the memory they use.. so yes an overclocked 4830 could be a standard clock 4850.. just like an overclocked 4850 could beat the overclocked 4830..
 
hard to believe this is done on stock cooling lol i mean its almost on par with the hd 4870 I think i'll get this over the hd 4770 there are a lot of local stores near my house selling the sapphire hd 4830 for only 105 dollars CAD

I thought the 4830 had less shaders in the gpu :confused:

 
My Sapphire did 700/1000 and flashed the BIOS... hits 70c in furmark but tops out at that..

And had a E5200 OC'ed to 3.6ghz... with both of those I went from about 10,000 to 12,500 in 3DMark 06, whatever the numbers were it was about 25% increase.

yeah your right.. my bad.. so it has 640 shaders instead of 800.. not really that much of a difference due to the way ATI's shaders are designed..
