Why would I be failing prime95 after 8 mins @ stock settings with a brand new Athlon 64 3000+, DFI Lanparty UT nF3, and 512Mb of Crucial Ballistix ram? Can you tell me something that isn't in the prime95 readme.txt? Thanks for reading.
 
Could be any number of things. Run memtest to check your memory, what are your temps like? Ballistix needs 2.8v to function, if you are below that, turn it up to 2.8v and try again. What kind of PSU do you have? It might not be stable enough to supply the kind of juice an A64 needs. My money is on the memory though :)
