Failing hard drive?

I'm having some problems with one of my drives, a Western Digital WD800JB that's about 19 months old. I first noticed the problems yesterday, but it's a storage drive that I don't access much, so it's possible that the drive has been having problems for longer.

Occasionally when I write to it, my computer freezes for a few seconds and the write fails with a message that the drive is "locked". This is certainly unusual, so I ran chkdsk on it, but it didn't come up with any errors. I also checked the S.M.A.R.T. data with HDD Health (I don't keep it running all the time because it throws up a lot of false warnings,) and it showed a few reallocated sectors and uncorrectable sector errors. Now this has me pretty worried, because I'm thinking that any sector errors are too many. I ran the Western Digital diagnostics a few times today, but the drive checked out fine every time. After the tests, the reallocated sector count went up to 10, but it hasn't gone up any since then.

It seems to me that the drive is on its way out, but I want to get some confirmation before I do anything. Is the drive dying, and if so, is this enough information to request an RMA?
