Failed to connect errors out the bummy

Also, the preferred method of connecting is hardforum.com (no plural) and hardocp.com with no www for either.

Lately I've been getting the same, but only when I use AOL.
Regular IE through my cable access doesn't do it.
When I hit the refresh the page will load ok :confused:

rwefresh my memory on the command to do that. It's been too long since I've needed to do that. /dns something, I can't remember.
 
ipconfig/flushdns on most windows boxes.

As for "preferred" names, they are all the same, they lead the same exact place.

AOL uses crappy transparent proxies that don't refresh often. Maybe. Thats my understanding of it.

At school, I actually get the DB error when I don't use the www.
 
under your network connection, do status, and repair, i did it, and it worked

i was getting errors all day for any site, google, yahoo, hardforums, nbforums

Strangely enough that actually worked. I tried with www couldnt get in left it off and poof works again.
 
I get the "there seems to be a problem with teh H database" error

Anyone else?
