Okay, so I decided to start folding FINALLY. Rig stats are in sig. I've got the FAH client on my computer, and unzipped. I'm running both FAH.exe, and FAH GPU Tracker V2. Do I need to be running both of these, or just one? If just one, which will make it work the most. Also, I have 2 video cards obviously (if you read my sig) is it possible to make both of those fold? Thanks for the help....and sorry for stupid questions, noob at folding as I've said.

Edit: Also, where do you get one of those F@H sigs at?

Where exactly is the signature on hardfolding, I've made my profile and everything. I'm just not seeing it.
 
search for your folding name, at the bottom of that page will be a bunch of color'd boxes, click the color you want and that will make the sig link for ya

I've done that. However, pasting the link that the site gives me just leaves it as a link, at least that I can see in my profile, and not that image.
 
what you want to do is look at the message tags, all i did was cut/paste what it had there, without adding any tags or anything, the site has it formated for you already
 


That's what is says works in the signature. However, it is not showing up still for me. (in my signature)
 
it wont show in your signature. you have to manual post it every time that you want it shown.

LAME! That sucks that you can't at least be able to post folding stuff. I mean...it's for a good cause, they could at least allow that.

They can't selectively allow F@H badges in signatures while disabling all other types of code. vBcode in signatures is either on or off. It's unfortunate, but there's really nothing that can be done about it.
 
Dang, well, it is what it is. Guess my signature is never going to show up then.
 
it would be nice to do something like evga does in there forum where it displays your points for folding.
 
Word....someone needs to talk Kyle into putting a little section in sig just for folders. Plug in your F@H username/etc, and it shows it. That way it would avoid people putting stupid pictures in sigs.
 
Okay...another noob thing.

On my FAH GPU Tracker V2.

GPU1 - Seems to be climbing pretty quickly, 77% after about 8 hours.

SMP - I'm assuming this is CPU, is only at 1% after almost a full 8 hours.

Do I have something set up incorrectly? There seems to be a huge difference in CPU and GPU, I did not think it would be this large.
 
You have an ATI GPU, so you shouldn't be folding on it. Disable the GPU client and fold only on the SMP client with -bigadv enabled. You will see the best performance from that.
 
If you didn't use a passkey when you were folding previously, then stay with standard SMP for now (no bigadv). You'll need to fold 10 WUs successfully under your passkey before the bonus points kick in.

Unfortunately F@H is not optimized for AMD (ATI) hardware, so it will hurt your SMP performance.

wont happen..

1. uses way to much bandwidth

2. its annoying as hell seeing those folding badges on every single post.

Yes, this, somewhere near your name and forum "rank" or whatever it is called. I don't think it would be a huge amount of bandwidth usage, very minimal I'm guessing in fact.
