Ive been looking at the addons for FAH and noticed there are quite a few when it comes to monitoring what your clients are doing.

Is there a single addon that will monitor multiple boxes that have multiple gpu and SMP clients running?

What addons do yall run?

The two main monitoring apps as far as I know are FahMon and FahSpy. I personally use FahMon, since I prefer the interface and it's a more compact program visually. It will monitor all of your clients regardless of the type, update you with their progress, tell you the credit for each unit, calculate PPD on the fly (both per client and total PPD), monitor the time per frame of each client for each type of unit, and a bunch of other things. It's really quite a useful application.

i use fahspy only because fahmon is way to simplistic..fahspy gives a wee bit more info.. but it guess its all personal preference.. but they both do the exact same thing.. just different layouts..

What specifically do you prefer about FahSpy?

well the primary reason i liked fahspy at the beginning was the fact that it picked up all my clients unlike fahmon which refused to detect my cpu client.. and then when it did it wouldnt detect my gpu client.. so that was one reason..

second reason is that it gives a lot more information about your settings, log viewing(within the program), which projects your working on that also directly link to the exact project page on F@H's website, PPD plus points per hour on each project.. which i think fahmon only shows PPD per client and total.. but then again i havent used or looked at fahmon in months..

sure id say its a wee bit oversized compared to fahmon.. but i have 2 monitors and it usually is minimized or hidden behind 4 or 5 windows and usually forget its there..

FahMon actually does most of those things as well. The only things from that list that it doesn't do are giving you info about your client settings, calculating PPD per hour, and linking directly to the project page. I do see your point though; if you're really into having a ton of different kinds of stats, FahSpy is probably the better app. I like the size of FahMon though, since I keep it open on my second monitor.

As a stats monger, I too prefer FahSpy but it hasn't been updated in a long time. However, I use FahMon on a regular basis, the 2.3.4-SVN_R425 version is a lot more efficient than previous releases.

As said, the new version is great. Easy set up, low CPU usage. I hope this is the norm to come.

It's all persnal preference. The two mentioned are the ones to use. I currently use FaHSpy
