such is life

since people are able to get 700 core on thier cards, do you think companies would release 700mhz xts?

for under warrenty? no

the GeCube is using the STOCK cooler on this card, the cooling solution is nice, but i wouldn't expect a company to keep using a cooling solution rated for speeds of 625mhz on a vastly overclocked solution and keep it under warranty

35mhz OC is a start, its nothing to sny at but it isn't awsome either, how ever nice to see ATI cards coming OC'd out of the package

can't wait to see what kind of cooling solutions we see on these (tides maybe??) on the higher over clocked ones

Yes, thats the clock speed the Asus x1800xt top card will supposely have. No clue when it will be availible for purchase or price though. Sounds like within the month.

Can't confirmed clock speeds though.
Here is the Inq. arcticle:

Here is Asus product page:
http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=2&l2=8&l3=233&model=968&modelmenu=1
Doesn't state the clock speeds

oh...because for my site, I wrote a script that parses the contents of every videocard manufacturers website on a daily basis looking for new cards, and this one just showed up yesterday...whereas the TOP everyone knew about...

That Asus TOP must have some very high speeds to hit 10k in 3dmark as advertised.

Gecube's site now lists their X1800XT Extreme Edition with core of 700mhz also.

Guys, let's try to keep the conversation on the card...besides, the silent treatment doesn't work too well if you tell the intended victim you're giving it to them ;)

Awesome...strange that they would put it up then immediately change it...must have been a typo...looks like 700Mhz all around then...:)
