I discovered this game last week and have been playing the demo quite a bit. The premise is that you are on an alien planet and must build a factory to survive. There are elements of games like rollercoaster tycoon, minecraft, tower defense, but the end result is something pretty unique.

The graphics are unfinished, but the game is very playable as a demo. An alpha is available if you pre-order (I haven't done so yet, so can't comment on the alpha).

Anyway, just thought I'd share. The ETA is later this month. The game met it's funding on indiegogo, so looks like a full release is a definite.

Sorry for the Necro on this...but just started playing this game. It pretty far long and pretty well done IMO. Having a lot of fun. There is a decent following on reddit and enough youtube videos to really reduce the learning curve. The demo is decent and the full game is a lot of fun. Been having fun making a mess. Even if you play through once (probably take you 20-40 hours)...still worth the $15. Since it is "sand-boxish", you can try and be more clever. For min-max OCD players with a god complex...this game is right up your alley.

I started playing but it didnt click, but then once it did an hour or two later, I didnt stop.Very fun game lots of opportunities to optimize designs.

Just bought this game over the weekend. I rarely ever waste money on Early Access, but it looked too good to pass up. I have completely stopped playing Cities Skylines and Black Desert Online thanks to this game....it's amazing.

It's been on my Steam Wishlist since it launched. Black Desert Online has me in it's grips atm.

We've been playing the heck out of it. It's quite a bit of fun and has some of the best streamlined gameplay out of any sim game I've played. Need to built an item that has a huge dependency tree? As long as you have the raw ingredients the game will figure it out and build each of the items needed sequentially so you end up with the final item in your inventory. Since everything is built around factories, you can easily streamline the process of making items by putting ingredients into a factory, and outputting items. But that's way too simple, take those items you outputted, add some more ingredients and input all of that into another factory; out comes a new item! Upgrades are also very convenient. Make an upgraded item and you can simply place it over the top of the old item. That one will go back into your inventory when the new one takes it place.

MP works quite well and it easy to setup. The game auto saves to both the host and the clients, so if you DC from an awesome server, you can just load up your auto save and continue playing on that map. Did I mention the game automatically cloud syncs your game saves so you always have them available? For being an Alpha the game is pretty polished, has a huge amount of stuff to do, and keeps you on your toes.
