I have heard about places where you can get brand new video cards and other hardware to test for free as long as you give feed back on them. Is this true? or just a marketing scam.
 
There's always a catch, I'm not sure what it is, but you can be sure there is one.
 
I would doubt it. The only places that are going to get free hardware are the fairly large review sites. They are not going to give them to just anyone. It would not make any sense for them to do that.
