Facebook To Settle Child Safety Probe

Rumor has it that the New York State attorney general and Facebook have come to an agreement in the child safety probe currently underway. The sources for the story didn’t name Facebook outright but how many other social networking sites are having problems with sexual predators? Uh, wait a minute….

Attorney General Andrew Cuomo said in a statement late Monday that he planned to hold a press conference today "to announce a major development involving social networking Web sites." Cuomo's office declined to comment further ahead of the news conference to be held in lower Manhattan. A spokeswoman for Facebook declined to comment.
