facebook timing out on win8 tablet

I've got a samsung series 7 slate running win8. facebook.com gives me problems. I get this message in firefox after the page sits there loading for a minute "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I've tried chrome and IE metro. when facebook works, it does on every browser, and when it does not, none will load it. it happens all the time. I visit a lot of sites, and its the only one that gives me trouble.

Have you checked your dns settings?

Try using something like 8.8.8.8 (google) or 4.2.2.1 (L3)

I've done scans with spybot 2 and malware bytes and found nothing.

Sounds like something is specifically blocking FB, a search on that error does reveal a lot of possibilities.

It's a good sign to stop using Facebook. Wake up man, you're selling your privacy to make Zuckenberg another billion.

I'd try changing the wireless driver. My win 8 system became more reliable after I downloaded a new driver. No, we shouldn't have to, but its still better.

it is a good sign, lol. I actually like Zuckerburg. I'm into bicycling and the local clubs forums are dead and facebook is what everyone uses now.

updated to a much newer driver from the intel site. still didnt help.
