Facebook Removes ExtraTorrent Page, Deletes User Profiles

I'm not exactly sure why these guys are acting surprised, Facebook deletes these kinds of pages all the time. Look, I like to kick Facebook in the nuts as much as the next guy, but I don't think this is a case where they deserve it.

Facebook has removed the official page of ExtraTorrent after complaints from copyright holders. In addition to the page removal, Facebook also deleted the profiles of the admins, while adding a mandatory security check for users who want to post ExtraTorrent urls on their timeline.
 
Looks like political BS motivations rather than any moral or legal justification.
 
"Deserve"? Facebook is the low-hanging fruit of the net; no need for qualification of any kind to slap it around as it's existence is quite enough.
 
......... I doubt it's actually deleted. I mean, it's facebook, it's not gone just inaccessible.
 
At least we now know how to kill a facebook account. Don't request to delete your account, just post links to torrent sites and Facebook will remove the account automagically. :)
 
I don't even know why they have policies. They only seem to enforce the ones they want when they want.
