My friends account has been hacked, email and phone number has been changed so i cannot recover the account anybody here have any tips and tricks on how to recover a FB account, anything is appreciated, thank you

Trying to call FB is impossible, and any live chat support is non existent

Unless you know someone working at Facebook, it's highly unlikely your friend will get the account back.

One of my friends had his account hijacked, and had even provided Facebook all of the documentation showing that he is who he claims he is, etc., along with showing how the profile radically changed in just a few days after getting hacked.

The Facebook staff did nothing, even though the name had been changed from "Chris" to "Rajesh" while still showing his profile pic (and he doesn't look at all like someone from India).

Even to this date, it has been two years, and Facebook still won't give him back the account.

The best your friend can do is to tell all of his / her friends to unfriend the old profile, and "friend" the new profile. Eventually, the hijacker tends to simply give up and discard it.

Facebook has a very poor policy about account recovery. The best thing you will do is to avoid being hacked because if it happens, you might likely not regain the account. Meanwhile, I have someone in similar situation. I want to know if your case was positively resolved, the reason I am writing on this thread.
 
Their account wasn't hacked, your friend wasn't using a secure password (short or same as something else leaked in a breach) or MFA and so someone got in.

I would question if their device is infected with something, or what else do they use the same insecure password on and start changing it everywhere.

Yes and No. I have plenty of friends on FB who wouldn't have the attention span to register and post a question on a proper forum like [H].
Also, I had the same happen to my burner FB account. Things went down quickly just like OP described, nothing I tried worked.

And I DO have a friend who works at FB - said friend just told me to give up and forget about it. So yea...

On a positive note, lol, I'm still "friends" with my hijacked burner FB account, so I keep an eye on what's happening there - precisely nothing. No posts, no activity, nothing.

Nothing visible -- they might be sending out friend requests, pms, sexting and stuff. Most people probably ignore it, but not all!

Thanks for this clue. I never thought the account hijacker could be doing some stuff in silence. I would be thinking the essence of hijacking an account if they will not use it. I will be expecting that they change dp and probably delete the owner's photos but to no avail.
 
Facebook/most of Suckerberg's meta nonsense is a danger to society, even Elmo's Tesla has much better support. I randomly get banned from MP for months on end and all I have ever sold is used PC parts, and no one has ever had an issue besides one guy not showing up and then leaving a bad review coz I sold the part (old mobo too nothing hot) to someone else. There is no customer support whatsoever coz Mad King Suck cannot be bothered with the plebs while he doles out 100 mil a pop to the next hot AI thing, I really hope most of them take their guaranteed comp and don't do jack, I know if I had a 100 mil I'd not slave away my life ...

Basically, we need another great dude to be an alternative to King Suck by his creation. Maybe we could enjoy a million dollar services before he will start earning 100 mil...

Won't happen anymore. They are too big and would just buy out anything that would be a threat.

That's a good opportunity for your friend to stop using it. If you really want to help your friend, let it go.

Such a person will be one in a thousand. It is not actually easy to reject a huge amount on a project whose potential is not 100% certain.
