• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Facebook.com Firefox redirect?

Has anyone else encountered this? Every once in awhile when I type in facebook.com into firefox it auto-redirects me to another site. The site is usually different every time, but sometimes it is myspace.com. I was thinking it's a history issue or a small little redirect code that I picked up while surfing the internet. I cleared out the history and its still there. Any ideas on how to fix it?

spyware/malware.

Check your internet connection settings in the control panel and make sure they have not been hijacked.

I like to use these for cleaning:

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Not free:

To prevent issues I like to use:
http://www.opendns.com/
http://www.untangle.com/
Windows firewall

You can also use add-ons for firefox:

Note: Some may not allow scripts or site functionality to run. This is handy if you get a bad link.

Hit it with Malwarebytes, SAS and ComboFix. Check your Hosts file.
Also, make sure a fake Proxy was not set up in FireFox's settings. And make sure no strange looking add-ons/plugins are lurking around.
