Fable PC Audio Problems

so I got Fable today but when i started to play..... the audio skips.... have no problems with the video, it runs smoothly at 1280x1024x32 with all settings max....does anyone who has this game have the same problem?

I had a similar problem, but I think it was that I had my sound card set to 4 channel audio when I was using headphones, and for some reason it was playing quite a lot of the dialogue out of the rear channels and my headphones weren't getting those signals at all. I switched my audio to "headphones" in Windows, and it seemed to fix the problem.
 
Check for soundcard driver updates as well as game patches. You could also try closing down any applications or background services that you're not using while playing.
