I made the stupid mistake of placing a 8800GTS is a Antec Fusion.
It works like a charm exept that it makes my casetemps go around 40-45 °C on Idle...
So i though, i'll buy 2 better fans ( Skythe S-Flex 1200RPM ) for hopefully a bit better silence/airstream ratio... and i'll let one being throttled by the Abit's EQ fan control ( connected to the Sysfan connector, not the AUX, from what I understand the AUX fanconnectors ain't controlable.) But it doesn't throttle...iut just goes on 100% or 0%

Settings:
target temp : 40°C
tollerance: 5°C
start control: 100%
stop control: 70%

what am i doing wrong? and can anyone explain the start and stopcontrol a bit better?
English ain't my native language and i don't get the full explaination from the mobo manual.
Also, could anyone explain thet the PWM fan is on the Abit EQ settings? GPU fan ?

Also:
CPU: E4300 @ 3.0Ghz @ ~40-47°C
GPU: 8800GTS 320 @ stock in 1st 2 slots @ ......well HOT for such a small case !
RAM: Corsair XMS2 800Mhz 5-5-5-12 2x1Gb
CASE FAN: Skythe S-Flex 1200RPM 1@ SYSFAN, 1 @ AUXFAN
CPU FAN: Nexus skite ( looks like copper Intel HS with 92mm Nexus fan )

i like to turn off the fan controls on this board because they get wayy too screwy
 
At idle, the 8800gts in my NSK2400 (almost identical to your Fusion) runs at 57C with the motherboard at 35C and the cores on my overclocked E4400 at 40C. This is with two undervolted 120mm Yate Loons from jab-tech pushing air into the case and a third blowing down on the processor. Positive pressure works a LOT better at least for me. I just went for a cheap 4 way fan controller and have all of them turned down to minimum. The noisiest thing is the 8800 and I'll be flashing the bios to change default 2D clock speeds sooner rather than later so that should sort that out with a bit of luck.
 
whah? o dear...lemme check the ambient temps around here and could you tell me what temps you had before changing the airstream of the fans? also, what HS do you have on your E4400? do you use EQ ?
 
temps dropped a good 5-6C by reversing the fans.
cpu cooler is an XP-120
dont use any EQ

just tried it...indeed a remarkable difference ! but for some reasons my 120mm became very loud. -_- They're on anti-vibration gommets and are not mechanically connected to the case...wtf? also, i added a 70mm fan from a old Athlon cooler ( 3500+ Newcastle i think ) in the vent above the I/O shield. Helps....a bit. I might look into a new cooler and some voltage modification for the 120mm's now..
